Q: What is Fire Fighters Credit Union?
A: Fire Fighters Credit Union is a cooperative, member owned and controlled, full service financial organization dedicated to providing financial services to members as a means of improving their economic well being. Through our personal service, our mission is to provide the best possible financial services to our members at competitive rates, while maintaining the credit union’s long term financial stability.

Q: How can I join Fire Fighters Credit Union?
A: Membership is open to any Tulsa Fire Department employee, all firefighters belonging to the OK State Fire Fighters Association and anyone related to a member of the Credit Union by blood or marriage. All that is required to join FFCU is a completion of a membership application, a $1.00 membership fee and a deposit of at least $5.00.

Q: How do I apply for a loan?
A: You may complete a loan application by contacting the credit union during regular business hours or by clicking on the Applications tab on our website. Fire Fighters Credit Union offers personal loans (auto, boat, etc), line of credit loans, mortgage loans and home equity loans. Our current rates are available by clicking on the Rates tab on our website.

Q: Are my deposit accounts insured?
A: Yes! All savings are federally insured to at least $100,000 by the National Credit Union Administration [NCUA], a U.S. government agency.

Q: Do you charge any regular fees on share draft (checking) accounts?
A: Never! Our share draft (checking) accounts are absolutely free! There is no minimum balance requirement, no transaction limitation and no fine print to read. In addition to absolutely free checking, you get a debit/ATM card, online account access and bill pay, and even monthly dividends1 —all at no charge!

Q: How can I use my debit/ATM card?
A: Your debit/ATM card can be used to make purchases, withdraw cash, and make deposits directly from/to your share draft (checking) account. You can use your debit card to make a [credit] purchase anywhere VISA is accepted2. You can also withdraw cash or make a deposit at any ATM with the Cirrus logo. There is no charge for withdraws made from an ATM owned by Fire Fighters Credit Union. We charge a minimal fee for each transaction completed at any other ATM. This fee is in addition to any transaction fee charged by the ATM owner. Fire Fighters Credit Union is a member of the Transfund No Charge Network. This means that you can use your debit card at any Transfund ATM without being charged any additional fee.

Q: What is the credit union’s routing/transit number?
A: Fire Fighters Credit Union’s routing number is 303985961. This number is used for deposits and electronic debits to your account. The routing number is also located on the bottom MICR line of your personal check.

Q: Can I receive and/or send wire transfers to/from my account?
A: Yes. Funds can be transferred to and from accounts by wire transfer. All outgoing wire transfers require written authorization and are charged a small fee. Incoming wire transfers can be received free of charge. Please follow the following wire instructions for all incoming wire transfers:

Q: How can I access my account after hours or from a remote location?
A: Fire Fighters Credit Union offers many options for you to manage your account from anywhere and at anytime. Simply call our Access 24 line at 918-582-1302 to get information on your account 24 hours a day. You may also access your account and make transfers between accounts by signing up for our Home Financial Services [HFS]. To securely access your account online, simply click on the HFS link on our website. You can also pay your bills online through our free Online Bill Pay service.
